Birth and Early Life: Param Pujya Swamiji was born on 01 June 1976 at Sankanahala village, Basavana Bagewadi Taluk, Vijayapur District, Karnataka, to Sri Basalingayya and Smt. Shanthabai. From an early age, he exhibited exceptional discipline, spiritual inclination, and intellectual curiosity. The values of simplicity, devotion, and compassion imbibed during his formative years became the guiding principles of his later life. His childhood itself reflected the signs of a future spiritual luminary destined to serve humanity.
Educational Excellence and Scholarly Achievements: Swamiji’s academic journey is marked by brilliance and distinction, reflecting his deep commitment to learning and knowledge.
• Primary Education: Hunshayal School, near his birthplace, where he laid a strong foundation in basic education and moral values.
• High School Education: R.P.A. High School, Rajajinagar, Bengaluru, where his academic abilities and leadership qualities became evident.
• Pre-University Course: Shri Jagadguru Renukacharya College, where he secured
First Rank, bringing laurels to the institution.
Higher Education and Research:
• Bachelor of Arts (B.A.): National College, Basavanagudi, Bengaluru.
• Master of Arts (M.A.) in Sanskrit: Demonstrating extraordinary command over Sanskrit and Shastric studies, Swamiji was awarded three Gold Medals by Bangalore University.
• Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.): In 2011, Bangalore University conferred upon him the Doctorate degree for his profound and original research thesis titled “Shaivagamagalu and Shri Siddhanta Shikhamani.” This scholarly work stands as a significant contribution to Shaiva and Veerashaiva philosophy.
Swamiji’s erudition has earned him recognition as a distinguished scholar who bridges traditional scriptural wisdom with contemporary understanding.
Embrace of Spiritual Life and Pattabhisheka :Param Pujya Swamiji embraced the spiritual path at the remarkably young age of sixteen, dedicating his life entirely to spiritual discipline and service.
• In 1992, Tapobhushana Shri Shri Shri Sanganabasava Shivacharya Mahaswamiji, the Mathadipathi of Managuli Pattikanthi Hiremath, accepted Dr.
Mahantalinga Shivacharya Swamiji as the successor of the Matha, recognizing his spiritual depth and leadership potential.
• In 1996, Shri Shri Shri Suvarnalinga Shivacharya Mahaswamiji of Shrimad Vibhuthipura Veerasimhasana Samsthan Math, Bengaluru, also chose him as his successor.
• Following the demise of Shri Suvarnalinga Shivacharya Mahaswamiji in 2001, Param Pujya Swamiji assumed full charge as the Pattadhikari, thereafter dedicating himself as a whole-time spiritual head and guide of the Matha.
Revival, Expansion, and Development of Shrimad Vibhuthipura Matha: Under the dynamic and visionary leadership of Param Pujya Swamiji, Shrimad Vibhuthipura Matha has witnessed unprecedented growth, revival, and renewed spiritual vibrancy.
A magnificent Kalyana Mantapa, constructed in memory of Sri Jagadguru Panchacharya, stands as a landmark of service-oriented infrastructure. The income generated from this facility is entirely utilized for the welfare and sustenance of the Free Residential School run by the Matha, thus transforming social resources into educational empowerment.
One of Swamiji’s most remarkable contributions is the establishment of the “No Fees, No Donation” Free Residential English Medium School in 2009. This institution provides quality education to poor and meritorious children from remote villages of Karnataka, covering Classes VI to X. The school has consistently achieved 100% SSLC results, becoming a beacon of hope for rural and underprivileged families.
Extending his compassion beyond state boundaries, Swamiji has also taken the initiative to adopt and educate poor students from the state of Meghalaya, reflecting his inclusive vision of national unity and educational justice.
Health Care, Welfare, and Humanitarian Initiatives: Driven by deep social concern, the Matha under Swamiji’s guidance has established a Free Dialysis Centre. It has 10 dialysis machines and has provided over 10,000 free dialysis treatments till today. Swamiji is the president of Old Age Home named „Shambhavi Shanthidhama‟ These institutions provide dignified care and support to the needy, the elderly, and the ailing, regardless of caste, creed, or economic status.
Comprehensive renovation and development works have been undertaken within the Matha premises, including:
• Sri Veerabhadra Swamy Temple, restored to its spiritual grandeur
• Santhrupti Sadana, the centre for monthly Dharma Chintana
• Facilities for Guru Sadhana, Atithi Sadhana, and Shivayoga Sadhana
• Residential and commercial complexes to support sustainability
• Veda and Sanskrit Pathashala for preserving ancient knowledge systems
• Industrial Training Centre for skill development
Additionally, the acquisition of 12.5 acres of land on the Bengaluru–Tumakuru Highway in the name of the Matha marks a significant step towards future expansion and long-term service to society.
Service During National and State Calamities: Param Pujya Swamiji has consistently responded with compassion and generosity during times of national and state crises:
• 2015 Nepal Earthquake: Rs. 2 lakhs donated on his birthday to support Kannada families affected by the disaster.
• 2018 Floods:
o Kodagu: 25 homeless families assisted with Rs. 10,000 each (total Rs. 2.5 lakhs).
o Kerala: Rs. 2 lakhs donated for flood relief.
• 2019 North Karnataka Floods: Rs. 6,21,300 contributed to the Chief Minister‟s Relief Fund.
• 2020 COVID-19 Pandemic: Rs. 5 lakhs donated to the Chief Minister‟s COVID- 19 Relief Fund.
These contributions reflect Swamiji’s unwavering commitment to humanitarian service and social responsibility.
Propagation of Spiritual Knowledge and Global Outreach: A gifted orator and profound philosopher, Param Pujya Swamiji has dedicated his life to propagating the principles of Veerashaiva Siddhanta and Sanatana Dharma.
His spiritual discourses and philosophical expositions have reached audiences not only across India but also internationally, including Australia, New Zealand, Russia, Singapore, and Oman. Through his eloquence and clarity, he has made complex spiritual concepts accessible to common people.
For over 24 years, Swamiji has been continuously spreading spiritual awareness through the daily programme “Mane Managalalli Shivapuje, Shivanubhava and Shri Siddhanta Shikhamani Adhyatma Pravachana,” conducted especially during the sacred Shravana Masa.
Awards, Titles, and Recognitions: In recognition of his exceptional socio-religious and humanitarian contributions:
1. In 2017, the esteemed daily newspaper Vijaya Karnataka honoured Swamiji with the prestigious „Satkarma Satkara‟ Award.
2. Jagadguru Dr. Chandrashekhar Shivacharya Mahaswamiji of Kashi Jnana Simhasana Mahapeetham, Jangamawadi Matha, Varanasi, conferred upon Swamiji the distinguished titles:
o „Shivacharya Ratna‟, acknowledging him as a rare gem among Shivacharyas.
o „Shishyahrutpadmabhaskara‟, meaning the sun who illuminates the lotus- like heart of the disciple.

National Public School Vibhuthipura :-
Swamiji Started a National Public School Vibhuthipura (CBSE) in the Matha premises from 2025-26 academic year with the hearty support a Legendary Educationist Dr K P Gopalakrishna the founder of National Public Schools India and other countries. The investment for this School 45crores. This school is opening to support Matha to open more Free Residential School for poor Family Students North India too. We are planning to open one Free Hostel and give full Scholarship for Poor students to Study in English Medium Schools.
